      ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Louann Simon, and I am in the Business Administration program at the best HBCU in Georgia, Clark Atlanta University. In 2023 I will graduate Clark with a Bachelor of Arts in Business in the concentration Management.  My goal for the future is to become a project manager so I can help companies and small businesses with their own professional goals that will help them increase productivity and progress. Personally, I enjoy being organized and coming up with creative solutions to problems which play a huge factor in project management. Project managers have to be able to plan and execute projects in a timely manner so they can reach deadlines and I know when I am put in a situation when I need to use those skills, I can perform well. My experiences in the past that I think really inspired me to want to become a project manager was when I was the vice president of community service in high school my senior year. I would plan community service events for the Family, Community, Career Leaders of America chapter at my school and I really enjoyed it. My tasks were to plan and orchestrate events for the club I was in to get students interested to help around our school. I also got to collaborate with different clubs at my school which I really enjoyed because we came together as a team and shared ideas to approach a solution.
